Juliet McGee M.A., LCMHC, NCC (She/ Her)

Practice owner & Licensed therapist

Juliet is a UNC Charlotte alumna and former expat who practiced abroad for 3 years in the Netherlands after earning her master's degree. Throughout her career, she has supported clients through a wide range of experiences, including complex childhood trauma, grief, relationship challenges, personality disorders, the transition to parenthood, infertility, and the unique pressures of entrepreneurship.

Over the years, Juliet has developed a specialized focus in supporting women navigating infertility and the trying-to-conceive journey, as well as those thoughtfully exploring whether parenthood is the right path for them. She integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and Narrative Therapy to help women reconnect with themselves, find clarity, and move through this chapter with greater confidence and self-compassion, whether they are grieving a path they didn't choose or making an intentional choice about the future they want.

Juliet also enjoys working with clients living with chronic, persistent depression, using creative approaches such as walk-and-talk therapy, nature-based interventions, and parts work (IFS). As an entrepreneur herself, she is equally passionate about supporting fellow business owners through the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. No matter who she treats, Juliet aims to help clients uproot the thinking patterns that prevent creativity, confidence and resilience.

In couples therapy, Juliet loves counseling new parents, young couples building a life together, and partners who feel stuck in the same arguments. Drawing from the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), she helps couples strengthen communication, deepen emotional connection, and navigate life's transitions as a team.

Juliet believes that therapy is a place where the unspoken can finally be explored. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply at a crossroads, she strives to create a space where you feel genuinely understood. Together, you'll identify the patterns keeping you stuck and work toward a life guided by greater clarity, resilience, and intention.
