Zoe Van Kirk M.Ed., LCMHCA, NCC (She/They)
Zoe is a trauma-focused, neuroscience-informed therapist with a background in psychology who works alongside clients in a grounded, relational, and down-to-earth way. They believe meaningful change happens when therapy moves beyond rigid scripts and instead centers honesty, curiosity, and owning one’s lived experience. She specializes in complex trauma and relational or attachment wounds, helping clients understand how survival patterns formed—and how they can soften as safety and self-trust grow. While her work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), existential therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), attachment theory, feminist theory, and polyvagal-informed care, Zoe tailors her approach to the unique needs of each client. Zoe is a queer- and neuro-affirming therapist and a certified Therapeutic Game Master who values creativity, storytelling, and play as meaningful tools for connection when appropriate. Her goal is to help clients feel more at ease in their minds, bodies, and relationships.
